This post is a bit off the norm, but this situation truly is terrifying.So theres this dam, that has been built on porous bedrock that require constant maintenance to keep solid, however, ever since it was briefly controlled by IS, the normal maintenance crew of 300 round the clock workers has dwindled to 30 with no supply of concrete grout to bolster the porous bedrock. There is a convention in April to discuss a plan of attack to fix the dam, but it could literally let go any day now.The estimated fallout would be between 500,000 and 1 million dead.http://ift.tt/1oXKIge
