Been lurking this thread for a long time now, and it's nice to know this weird fear I've had for 10 years isn't that unusual. It's a hard one to describe to people too as you don't really understand what you're afraid of, but you know being in deep water makes you feel vulnerable.Here's the catch, I love watersports, snorkling, surfing, paddleboarding, cliff jumping. Rarely has my phobia impeded this, but it does make it VERY uncomfortable almost constantly.Do any of you have any suggestions, methods or even just thoughts that have helped you forget about the depths below when you're out in the blue?
