I was in my American History course and we were on the discussion of feats Americans made way back when we were a young nation. One of which was this story of two individuals in a smaller vessel sailing from New York to the UK by paddle. Apparently 3 days into the trip the could visably see the water get black and the current seemed to push them forward. The object stayed with them for a day or so and then seemingly went away. The account, according to my teacher had them describing one giant yellow eye as this monstrosity took up the whole area they were in.All kinds of Nope there.
