I have two irrational fears. One is bridges over moving water. The other is just being on deep water. I can conquer the fears easily. In fact I can walk big bridges and treat it like a roller coaster ride. But the fear is there. And when I saw Unbroken the terrifying part was the raft on the water. Not the sharks, not the Japanese and their guns, just being right on the water with no land in sight. It is just so cool to find out this has a name. Now I just need to learn to pronounce it and to find a way to work it into a conversation.
