We're going camping over labor day weekend. Everybody is going to be swimming in the lake, and canoeing down a river.My girlfriend doesn't seem to understand my problem with lakes. If the water was crystal clear, then no problem. But I can't do water that I can't see in.No matter how I try to describe it, she doesn't understand why I won't get in when we're there. I'll only be able to focus on what kind of unseen hell beast might be lurking below. What if something touches my foot?Anybody else know a good way to explain this to someone without this fear?
