Of all the things that could freak me out in this world, I never knew this would be it. I've had dreams before where I'm about 50' down in the middle of the ocean. I can see the sun above, but the darkness seems to always try and engulf me. There are no "ominous shadows" in the distance, no "strange sights" to behold, just the vast empty blue. It's strange cuz there's never any impending danger, just a constant sense of dread, so overwhelming I usually wake up gasping... I used to have a fear of heights, until I went cliff jumping in lake Travis. Maybe what I need is to go scuba diving, and conquer my fear of this?
