So I think there is a general unease about deep water, because it is instinctively dangerous, from an evolutionary standpoint. And there is the fear of aquatic predators such as sharks. But my fear is even less rational. I'm afraid of sea monsters. Nessie, sea serpents, giant squid, rusulka, merfolk... That kind of thing. Even in rivers and lakes i can't help but think about Champ, ogopogo, Nessie, etc. I'm not so much afraid of sharks, maybe more so of jellyfish, but more the abnormal creatures we don't know about.Anyone else have that specific, almost supernatural fixation?
